CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK

Thank you notes and cards were distributed to the President, Clerk, Trustees, and the Fire and Police Chiefs from the children of St. Christopher's School in conjunction with Catholic Schools Week expressing their thanks to the Village for its assistance to the school. A memo from Chief Bittin recommending that the Village enter into an intergovernmental agreement at a cost of $20,000 with the government's share of the grant at $60000 was read.
Under omnibus President Murawski entertained a motion to authorize the Village President to enter into the intergovernmental agreement with Cook County and the Sheriff of Cook County for Criminal Apprehension Booking System.
A resolution authorizing participation by the Village in the County Grant for Obtaining Equipment for Criminal Apprehension Booking System and Related Services was read.
President Murawski entertained a motion to adopt the resolution as read. Motion made by Trustee Valacak and seconded by Trustee Stephens.
ROLL CALL: AYES: Trustees Potempa, Kreis, Woike, Wilkins, Valacak, and Stephens. NAYS: None. Motion carried.

The IEPA acknowledged receipt of the resolution passed by the Village on May 13, 1998 regarding the Robbins Incinerator. The IEPA is working closely with the Attorney General's Office to address any and all violations at the facility.
