Chief Bittin reminded everyone of the Golf Outing on Monday, August 19th. Building Superintendent, Rick Hansen reported that the sewer and operation maintenance program of 1998 would begin August 4th.
President Murawski wished Joe Bortz, the new owner of Groovy's much success.

Midlothian Special Event Charity Golf Classic

Includes: golf, cart, refreshments, locker facilities, lunch and dinner. Dinner Only: $60.00
Cocktails at 7:00 PM / Dinner at 8:00 PM
- Check in time 6:30 AM & 12:30 PM
- Shotgun starts promptly at 7:30 AM or 1:30 PM
- No reservations held without payment
- Checks made payable to: Charity Golf Outing

Outing prizes and sponsorships are appreciated. Please contact me to make arrangements.
We can only accommodate 200 golfers so please make your reservations early. Proper attire is required: no denim, jeans, tshirts, soft-spikes only. The Charity Golf Outing raises thousands of dollars for local charities. The charities receiving benefits from this popular outing are local Midlothian food pantries and VITAS Hospice Services. All profits from this outing go directly to these charities. Through the years this golf outing has raised over $400,000 benefiting the underpriviledged of our community. The food pantries in Midlothian feed hundreds of people a year. It is important for us to provide support to families that have been injured, through job loss or major illness.
