Our water bills have been issued in the new format for over a year now. As always, if the bill is paid on or before the 21st of the billing month, the net amount is due. If the gross amount is not paid within 5 days, a Final Disconnection Letter MAY BE MAILED, notifying the consumer that water service will be turned off unless the gross amount is paid within 10 days. Our system DOES NOT CREATE MULTIPLE NOTICES as in the past. If you have a difficult situation and are going to be late paying your bill or want to make payment arrangements, CALL the Village Hall at 389-0200 to make these arrangements. Don't assume we know about your situation. If we do not hear from you, your water service may be turned off without notice. If water service is terminated, there is a charge of $50 to restore service. If service is terminated a second time, the charge is $75 and the charge is $100 for any further reconnections.
Remember, water is billed for the previous three months of usage...the Village has already paid for the water and for the garbage pickup service when we bill you. We appreciate your timely payment and thank you for your cooperation.
