"The falling leaves slip by my window....the autumn leaves of red and gold." How beautiful. Yet, once the leaves turn brown and dry up all over your lawn, they are not so beautiful. If raking leaves is not something you can or want to do and you need help, call the Village Hall (708-389-0200) and ask for some "helping hands."
If you are at least 12 years of age, but not yet 18 years old and you are looking for ways to earn some extra money, come to the Village Hall and fill out a form indicating the type of work that you are willing and able to do. A parent or guardian must also sign the form. The completed forms are then filed by geographical section. Then, when a resident calls for assistance with raking or some other household chore, we can match them up by location with the workers we have on file who are willing and able to do that type of work. Fees for service are always set between the parties involved.
