Cook County Commissioner Joan Patricia Murphy advises us that the Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control will be providing low cost rabies shots and microchips to dogs, cats and ferrets of Cook County residents.  Mobile clinic services will be offered on a first come, first served asis.  Pet owners must present a valid Drivers License or State ID.  For public safety, all pets must be leashed or caged at all times.

Low cost fees are $7 for a 1-year rabies vaccine
$21.00 for a 3-year vaccine
$10 for microchip identification

These Rabies Vaccine and Microchip Clinics are scheduled from June through September and are held from 10 AM until 2:45 PM.
