Fire Chief Jack Schaeffner reminds you to inspect all your holiday lighting strings and plugs, and discard those that are worn or frayed.  The chief also reminds you that for a happy and safe holiday, natural trees should be kept in water.  Do not use open flame decorations and on Christmas day, dispose of wrapping papers and boxes immediately.  The chief and his firemen hope you’ll give them the day off on Christmas!
